The hate and bias from the national media on the Rockets is disgusting.

I wish they would go after the Texans/Bill O'Brien with the same fervor. But no one cares about the Texans, and the Bill O'Brien GM fiasco goes unnoticed on a national media level.

 

ESPN dislikes the rockets and crams it in our ears with each and every opportunity. They don’t like how James and Chris cut them out, so they retaliate by making things up. The effort to tear this team apart is astounding.

Well, none of these media types will come out and say, Yes, I was lying for ratings and clicks, so there's that.

If it's true, maybe CP3 was ranting and raving after the Golden State series and has since calmed down, but those comments got passed along the grapevine. Or he sees AD and LeBron in LA and sees that opportunity now. If it's true.

 

It's a feeding frenzy. Everyone that has a blog, a YouTube channel, or a radio show wants to get a couple of shots in on the Rockets. The Rockets, Morey, Harden, and Paul are all disliked by much of the media. So, I guess this shouldn't be a surprise.

I will say that Morey and the Rockets have handled all this rather poorly. Last week we heard that the Rockets were going to be aggressive this offseason and that the entire roster was available. I don't remember the Rockets immediately denying this. Now Morey is saying the starting five will all be back. I mean which one is it? Sounds rather wishy washy.

I think Harden and Paul could put this all to rest if they wanted to. Just go on tv and set the record straight. A couple of tweets isn't really enough to stop the feeding frenzy.

 

All this does is deter players from playing with the Rockets. So much drama.

 

The Rockets need to do a sit down interview with Morey, Tilman, CP3 and Harden to finally crush all of this.

 

Man i would love so much to have the Rockets eventually come out together in a press conference just to go ham at these guys...

LeBron is old and cranky and knows we are going to put together a team that he can't beat despite cheating to get AD.

My theory is that these leaks are coming from Klutch Sports and/or the fired coaches.

I think Gersson Rosas was a guy in the organization who would quiet these rumors before they leaked and now that he's gone the flood gates have opened.

 

why? yesterday everyone wanted morey and co to shut up. now they need to come out and talk about dramatic fake news.

Vince Goodwill is full of it. Let me unpack some of this.

“Chris Paul can’t make that power play because his best days are behind him.” Okay, so what exactly are you saying? Did he demand a trade or not?

“Well, guys emotions fluctuate.” But you just said that he unequivocally wants to be traded. Did he change his mind or not? Or did he even demand a trade once again?

“Oh he’s doing petty things to James.” So media members around the team are saying the same things as far as them not seeing any real tension between the two guys. And then you have them making accusations that can be physically proven false which have been physically proven false.

And then you got Ryen Russilo saying “well he didn’t officially demand a trade but he wants out.” What sense does that even make? Like you’re trying to push semantics that you haven’t even proven to be true.

National media is full of sh*t. This is ridiculous. And it’s all because they know deep down the Rockets have a shot at the title the same way the Lakers do.

 

FWIW, I'm not in the "I believe the Rockets 100% on this" camp. I think there may be something to this stuff even if this is way overblown.

However, no credible source on the Rockets has reported this stuff. Shams reported we shopped Paul but did not back up all of this nonsense. Stein hasn't reported this stuff, but has reported that other front offices are in awe of what is being reported. Woj hasn't reported this stuff. Amick, the Rockets go to, hasn't reported this stuff.

If Chris Paul really wants out this seems insane. It's a terrible way to go about it.
