You guys can hurl insults all night long. It still doesn't make the OP wrong and you right. It just makes you all look like a bunch of trolls with no idea as to how the Rockets win with Hardhead as their lead.
If Chris Paul leaves, the Rockets take 2 steps backward.

What would Harden bring with AD being traded —> as much or more? Not saying we should, but if we did trade Harden how much could we get in return? Remember DM drafts are suspect at best and Harden will will his team to a playoff birth by himself, so the picks we get in return will be mid to late picks, too. Damn him for being that good.

Not necessarily. You keep Paul and the team. Try to get Butler. Then you probably get a good pick as well. This team can win without Harden.

I'm sure they could get at least a top 5-10 pick. That could be used to draft a good scorer to be groomed by CP3.

But you just told me 4 sentence ago that we're "no winning jack with either." So why keep CP3 again, genius?

Why would Butler come here without Harden, you think Butler wants to come here to play with 34 year old Chris Paul instead of just signing with Philly.

Who is he going to play with in Philly? They're not going anywhere with that squad. Playing with Paul, a good team plus a highly drafted player is more intriguing than what Philly has at the moment.

They’re not trading Harden but to do so for a top 5-10 pick would be laughable. He’s locked into a long term contract and can carry his team farther than AD.

You’d easily get the Knicks #3 pick plus other plus future picks... imo.

Would you trade Harden for ... for example... Tim Hardaway, Mitchell Robinson, RJ Barrett and future picks?

This is just dumb. Of the two, Harden is the better player now and in the next 3-5 years. Anyone wanting to keep CP3 over Harden is a fool, sorry not sorry.

CP3 has a long history of exiting in the first round, with talented teams. Yes he was, keyword was, a dominant point guard but it never translates into postseason success.
Harden has carried teams beyond the first round as the first option and often times only option.
Constantly knocking the second best player in franchise history makes me actually want to trade him somewhere he’ll be appreciated.

    The “quick” rebuild.

Harden to Knicks for Hardaway, Mitchell Robinson, the #3 pick, future picks. Draft Barrett.

CP3 to Phoenix for an iteration of the oft proposed deal - the #6 pick, Josh Jackson or TJ Warren (preferably), Tyler Johnson. Draft Garland or Coby White.

Capela to Boston for Jaylen Brown and Aaron Bayne’s.

Suck next year and add. Cross your fingers on Barrett, Robinson, Garland/White

Big Brain: Trade Harden instead of CP3
Galaxy Brain: Trade BOTH HARDEN and CP3!
