2019 Uniform Reveal -Houston rockets EASTER EGGS

I actually love the color scheme of the dildo jerseys. Just hate the pinstripes and the pajama look.

So if they can do something modern and good with that color scheme, I'm all for it.

Those look pretty clean on Harden. Never thought I'd say this but maybe keep this style, and replace the rocket logo (pictured) with our current "R logo)..maybe get rid of the pinstripes to go with a minimal look..rinse/repeat with a red/yellow and white/red/yellow version and it's set. The ones pictured could be an alternate jersey jersey worn on throwback/heritage nights. Can someone draw this up?

 

Word is that 1 of Houston’s new jersey’s will be the pajama throwbacks but with the new logo applied to it.

 

This is the "special" jersey they mentioned correct?

 

Guys, I think each day until the reveal they’re reviewing previous jerseys leading up the 20th. So tomorrow they might release a 1 minute video of the Yao era or championship era.

There's been tweaks to the current style, but if they're going backward chronologically, that was the version to show.

Not everyone always likes this dude's designs. I almost universally do.

That said, everyone should appreciate that he does it very professionally. As in, way more professionally than the Rockets themselves.

It's interesting that in the section "From where we've been"- they then show two clips of Steve Francis in the pinstripe jersey.
No knock against Francis- but we've had much better players and definitely better jerseys?


I personally thought their new secondary logo was horrendous so I don't have too high of hopes for their next jersey. It seems like it would be really hard to make a good jersey if it has that ugly logo on it anywhere

Yes. So there is 3 “new” jerseys that will be rolled out this season.
The red and white jerseys will be altered, not much, mainly the font and the added logo. But the 3rd jersey will be similar to the pajama throwback.
