You definitely don’t if you don’t think Klay can create his own shot

    Klay Thompson cannot dribble.

He dropped 60 on 11 dribbles.
    43 on 4 dribbles.

He scores off catch and shoot, running off screens back door cuts, or straight light drives out of motion sets. He rarely takes more that one or two dribbles before pulling up.

Occasionally he will use his 6’7 frame to post up a small guard. But he cannot isolate or create out of a live dribble.

    You must be trolling.

Blake Griffen at PF and a bunch of tall three and D players standing around on three point line waiting for the ball.

All jokes and biases aside, Steph Curry.

There is no better running-mate to Harden in this league than the most deadly shooter in the game.

Imagine a Harden isolation play with an off-ball screen to get Curry an open catch-and-shoot three.

There is no defense against this play. Cheat the rotation early to Curry and Harden either gets an easy lane to the basket with Capela waiting for the lob or Harden has plenty of room for his patented step-back theatrics.

Meanwhile, Curry needs very little space to get a shot off coming from a screen and is excellent at catch-and-shoot going away from the basket twisting his body sideways. He doesn't need the ball to be highly effective.

Curry is the only superstar who could have and did make it work with Durant running the offense in isolation for the Warriors and still kept his production at a very high level these past 3 seasons.

So yeah Harden-Curry would annihilate the league.

Sure. Let’s trade his ass immediately then while his value is high. Lol

He isn’t worth **** without Harden feeding him open lobs off the double team.

Paul George. Possibly the best defensive wing in the league, can guard 1-4, elite 3PT shooter with deep range, can create his own shot, can drive, can run the break, can get boards and can pass. Most importantly plays well off ball on offense, but can run the offense well on his own at the same time when Harden sits.

Need high IQ players. Both offensively and defensively, IQ from role players was the Rockets' biggest problem this season.

Ill say this, if for some reason the Pelicans want to move Jrue Holiday, i dont see it, but he is a playmaker that can shoot the 3 and plays ELITE defense on guards and even can annoy wings. Trade cp3 afterwards. Jrue would be amazing. As good as it gets defensively and scores 20 a night.

People have the memory of a gold fish, it totally works to have two guards taking turns running the offense.

Lebron and Irving did just that against the Warriors, so did OKC with Durant and Westbrick. WE LITERALLY DID THAT LAST YEAR and it was almost concensus we were the best team in the league without hamstring injury. The problem is CP3 sucked this year, why are we pretending Harden didnt dribble the **** out of the ball last year.

Harden and Lebron playing next to eachother would absolutely annihilate this league.

Steve Adams is not a great defender. In fact he is not often the weak link in the defense. He gets KILLED when he switches onto a guard.

    Co-star?
    No co-star.
Just a bunch of role players who will shut up & play their role!

We need a pf with length that can defend smaller players and still give weak side shot blocking. They don’t have to be a great ball handler, but they need to be able to create in the half court off 2-3 dribbles. They also need to be able to shoot the 3.

Siakam was the difference. We have everything else the raptors have on our current roster. Josh Smith was the closest thing we’ve had in the last 5 years, and we all saw how important he was against the clippers.

I’m a huge PJ fan, and I actually think we could win with him playing the 3. We won’t win with him playing the 4. We need people that can create inside if they get runned off the 3 point line.
