Whataburger sold to a Chicago investment firm

I am not a michelada drinker admittedly. But my friend who bought it is and he had the same reaction I did.

 

I dont even know what the **** I even wrote there. I was severely under the influence, as you can tell by the double wordings and repetitive lines.

I thought they were good though, but the best pre-made michelada is modelos, which only come in a 24oz can.

 

You and me both.

Never had one of the Modelos, I see the hombres picking them up at 5pm at my local store. I'm more of a bloody mary guy personally, but I have been known on a bbq day to drink half or so of my 3rd one and fill the cup with beer when it's time to make the switchover.

This must be the reason I suddenly got an offer in the Whataburger app. The Whataburger app NEVER gives out offers.

Schlitterbahn recently sold its parks off to outsiders too. This sucks.

 

Surprised that a company that pride itself on being synonymous with Texas sold out. What’s next Dr. Pepper, H-E-B?

 

Who else went to whataburger upon hearing this? I feel like everything is going to change for the worse.

I trust they won't change the recipes. The south is really invested in Whataburger.

 

They're keeping the HQ in Texas and it will be run by long-time Whataburger people, so I'm hopeful.

 

They are GOING NATIONAL - this is a good thing the concept is just expanding to other states...nothing will change.
