You know the Astros have thrown in the towel with Tyler White is pitching.

Now that we've discovered Alvarez is human. What were his at-bat like? No strike-outs which is good. Was he just unlucky today?

Damn. I read the box score wrong. Yeah, two strikeouts.

Worst game of the year. Really awful in every aspect of the game.

Two strike outs, weak double play and hard hit line out to left.

    LOL, ouch.

Well, we still won the series. Take your lone win and get the hell out.

Is Reddick at first base an actual option? I realize they were just cheesing the positioning in the ninth, but Reddick or Brantley playing first would open up an outfield spot for Tucker.

The towel was thrown in when Perez was pitching. Astros knew they were coming back down 4-0

    Keep winning series boys!!
3 at Cincy and 4 at Yankees. Altuve should be back for the Yankees
Taking 2 of 3 at Cincy would be great.
And splitting with the yanks works.
4-3 road trip. Sign me up please.

Play 500 baseball the rest of the season and we still win 93 games. Crazy.
100 wins should happen with the big sticks coming back over the next 30 days.

the line out was crushed. Could have easily been a double if it landed between OFers

    More importantly, the Twins lost.

    Neither is particularly important though.

That was pretty clear when they kept Perez out for the 7th and 8th.

I'm thinking Stassi and Altuve are back for the Wednesday game. Stassi might be back tomorrow (he's currently 2-2 wit h a hr and 3 rbi tonight and this is his 3rd game). Altuve will likely play with RR again tomorrow (he's 1-2 with 2 runs tonight), travel/day off on Tuesday and ready to go on Wednesday (I hope).
