He clearly lost contact with the bag while the tag was still on him. Like, he would've been called out instantly on replay. You're only allowed to run or slide through 2 out of the 4 bases; that's baseball, and it always has been. A steal is not simply a sprint.
When they start throwing him inside and he learns to shorten up and turn quick....things will get really fun. eta: you let him extend his arms down and out over the plate...well, you're stewed buttwad.
Agreed... if a player slides passed the base and is tagged, he should be out. I was talking about not maintaining contact for a second while not sliding passed. Such is merely replay abuse.
