Right now is the worst time to believe rumors and insiders regarding pending free agency. Everybody is using sources to spread misinformation and disguise their intentions.

 

I believe this is what Tad Brown was eluding to when he said there will be fireworks, cause our dreams are going up in smoke.

 

I can see a scenario where the combined salries of Clint and nene are used to match butlers on a SnT opt in . The only problem there is that philly definitely doesn't want Clint given they have embiid .

We would probably do it for Gordon and Nene , but I think we prefer to trade Clint in that scenario . Maybe not , as butler can create and you'd rather keep Clint's size .

I dunno what's gonna happen . There are some exciting possibilities that make sense , but we probably aren't anyone's first choice

 

Yeah, everyone know this at this point, i'm just saying cause it's not like we should've expected a different rumor to come out as today.

 

So outside of philly we can offer him the most money ?

The problem with this is you’re acting like cyber is saying things as if it’s guaranteed. He’s sharing things he’s heard, which he acknowledges every time. Most of us appreciate that. Seems like you’re taking things out of the context he says it in.

Guys can we just be clear that no one gives a F if you predicted one out of dozens of players we target isn't coming here?

We DO give a F about people who suggest there may be a chance based on a track record.

Tell us when you predict who IS coming here.

 

The chances are relative good still. If something better doesn't materialize beforehand.

And if Butler doesn't happen there are other very good options including Win Slow.
