I doubt that Morey will shut up now that Klay and KD are out indefinite time.

    Au contraire.

Carl stirring the pot again ….. the date on that Twit is a month ago and was relevant as the Rockets and those other teams played the Worriers at full strength up to that point - Toronto , not so much. They were running a broken version of Thompson out there and KD played something like 11 minutes for the series and shouldn't have played at all.

GSW minus KD those two just isn't the same animal - Toronto was very fortunate.

I am slightly worried that there will be more ACLs (ruptures) throughout the NBA in the near future, not a good sign.

Circumstances change so fast. No one is really safe.

Stirring the pot. I would have liked to play the Warriors with Cousins coming back from yet another injury, no KD the entire series but 12 minutes, to have Klay tear his ACL during one of his monster games (30 points at the time of injury) in an elimination game, Looney and Iguodala not a 100%. Even then they barely squeezed out the wins.

Masai just showed our-over-rated GM how it's done

Went about his business quietly picking up players like FVV and Siakim and Powell. Ensured a team with NO lottery pick on the roster won a NBA Championship. While we keep run it back, give contracts to old veterans and then complain we lack speed and athleticism

Did the clippers not go 3-4 in a 7 game series?

Without Derozan (top 9 pick drafted by Colangelo) he wouldn't have get Kawhi...and wouldn't have win ****, just like he didn't in the past years while guys like FVV, Powell and Siakam were already on the team. And fwiw without Valanciunas (another top 5 pick by Colangelo) he wouldn't have get Gasol.

Now, maybe Morey should've betraied Chris Paul a year ago and trade him for Kawhi, pretty sure the Spurs would've like Chris of Demar :D and/or traded Capela for "washed up" Gasol, but pretty sure a lot of people would've b****ed about this trade, especially after watching Gasol getting owned by the Warriors on the pick & roll.

Are you trying to say this warriors team that Toronto beat is the same warriors team that Houston has played the last 2 years?

We don't agree on much and I like Morey but you're 1000% correct. Morey has got to do a better job and stop talking publicly so much about the team's strategy in season and the offseason. Just stay quiet on both fronts and build a bigger more athletic team.

Ya, if Morey had gotten KD to miss the whole series, injured Klay twice, injured iggy and injured Looney we would've won. Lesson learned i hope

I am not so sure.......here....., Toronto was so much better than us this year, because they didn't run out a team of lilliputions and hope to beat a tall and athletic Warrior team.

We were the Ooompa Loompas of the NBA - outside of Capela and Harden, our team was short....and even Morey has said he values players who might be a bit short but can be effective......

You can't teach height and we need some - BIG TIME

Do you think that the Rockets would have beaten the Warriors if the teamed faced off one round later and Durant got injured in the 2nd round and missed all the games?

Yes, the Warriors did beat the Rockets without Durant in Game 6, but I think the odds would be better for the Rockets in a 7 round series.

So maybe was a mistake to cheap out on Danuel House and lose the 2nd/3rd seed while keeping House in the G-League?

I can say with absolute 100% certainty that if the raps played the fully health warriors team, the warriors beat them 100/100 times. Maybe some of the times it goes 6-7 (probably not 7) but Toronto would have absolutely no chance in hell to beat them.

Kd got hurt cause he was playing way more minutes in the rockets series then he’s used to, if they faced a trash 2nd round team they wouldn’t have had the strain from heavy minutes.

Rockets against Warriors without Durant - 0-2
Raptors against Warriors without Durant - 4-2

Rockets against Warriors with big 4 - 5-8
Raptors against Warriors with big 4 - ????

These are the facts. The Raptors played a very hobbled Warriors team, Unfortunately, we didn't. However, we played them without Durant and played mind-numbingly dumb basketball.

Raptors win. We didn't get their chance, but we also didn't capitalize on ours.
