Car lease exit options

But in all seriousness, if she had $32,500 to piss away on a lease over 3 years...she definitely should have had a 3-6 month savings at least in her bank. Did she burn through her savings already?

Basically the only option is she gets lucky and finds somebody even dumber to take over the $900/month lease.

Expensive taste, moved to Texas from Cali and still can’t afford to pay bills. At least she has somebody that wine and dines her.

Is it that hard to find a 50 something year old that’s a little more financially secure?

Check and see if the cars value is more than what is owed on the car, if so then sell it.

 

I have a 39 month lease and they let you opt up to 3 months early if you trade in for a new model from the dealer but I have tried to get out of earlier leases and was shut down. Dang, that`s a high car note, good luck

$900 a month for a stinkin' CAR. That's almost twice as much as my rent house mortgage.

What is it with the car culture in this country? Everyone's gotta have a nice car whether they can afford it or not.

900 x 60 = 54000 = a really nice new car, or an amazing 2-3 year old used car that's YOURS.

I am also assuming she hasn't registered the car in Texas because you will need to pay sales tax on the full selling price.

I mean i am okay with people leasing but good grief..maybe stick to something you can afford if you were to lose your job for a few months!

That wasn't a money maker on here, but she might be needing some ride rides from now on.

 

There's also the option of Uber, Lyft and Food delivery using "Merc SUV" to make some extra cash...

Trade it in on a Tesla, just wrap the negative equity ( 4 payments ) into the new Tesla note. She will not have to buy gas and can uber on the side to quickly get the vehicle into positive cash flow category. Freaking a win, she can even charge you fare to drive you on dates.
