Reading this and reading that... then I put my personal spin on it with add trades because of that than this. — Paul For Wiggins & Covington — Capela For Ball, Kuzma & Hart — Gordon S&T WCS — Add picks where needed. I have read most of these trades from other forums (nonRocket) Just mix and match Harden, Ball, Covington, Wiggins, Tucker, Hart, Kuzma, WCS, House, Clark, Hartenstein, Nene & Chiozza (There are so many ways to put a rotation together with all this talent —> mind blowing) Harden, Wiggins, Covington, Tucker, WCS Ball, Hart, House, Kuzma, Hartenstein *Wiggins turns into a All-Star*
If Boston can’t get AD. Maybe this is a way to get J Brown. This would cost the Rox at least one first and one second. I think the Rox may have to overpay in terms of picks if they truly want to improve the roster in the short term. I’m assuming Austin walks. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y6q252jd Boston gets Winslow as a consolation for losing Brown and Smart. They also get a Houston First. Miami gets the 17th pick from Atlanta and 2 expiring contracts. Second from Boston. They also get Olynyk off the books. Atlanta gets Smart and a 2nd from Houston. Smart gives them a defensive minded veteran and a leader for a young team. So basically Clint for a starting wing, and 2 role players who fit the system. I can live with Olynyk as a back up 5. Huerter is young and developing but with his deep range he could develop into a killer. Maybe work out that deal for Dedmon that has been previously posted. CP/Harden Harden/Gordon/Huerter Brown/House/Huerter PJ/J Green/Clark Dedmon/Olynyk/Hart Second unit: CP Gordon House/Huerter J Green Olynyk Possible small ball second unit: CP Gordon Huerter House J Green If CP and MDA are going to be here they might as well try to give them consistent shooters instead of just streak shooters.
I like it. But i think your really undervaluing Hueter for that Hawks team. Im pretty sure they want to keep him as a building block (and personally i really love the guy. He has great defensive instincts and just need to add to his frame to make a bigger impact, id love him on the team). Id still take the offer if it was an end of bench guy from the Hawks. Jaylen Brown can be that much of a game changer for us.
Paul For Wiggins & Covington Imo, MDA and Lucas can unlock Wiggins and help him become the player he came into the league as.
Personally i don't see Wiggins developing into a great player but, aside for this, the problem with this trade is that Minnie already has Teague and Tyus Jones...tbh i can see Gersson using Teague just as an expiring contract since to me he has little to no value, but Jones has to be resigned and i think he'll do that, Rockets had eyes on him, wouldn't be shocked if Gersson was a big part of that plan, and regardless, i don't see him taking on Chris contract. I know in your scenario he would dump Wiggins but: - the Rockets won't take that risk - Wolves are probably in a situation were keeping Wiggins for one/two years and see if/how he develops might not be that bad of an idea
There is a flame from smoke of the dumpster fire known as the Timberwolves. Towns is a super temperamental person and pouts about most things. He is also one of this generation’s talents. A Paul trade commitments to Towns. They are in a place to transition to Towns as the main man and keep a lot of their talent plus bring in mentor in an area of need. A happy Towns maybe the success they long for. You are right moving Wiggins is not only a dump for them but a complete commitment going forward.

My 4 TEAM ANTHONY DAVIS TRADE: Rockets: Bradley Beal, Mo wagner PELICANS: Capela, Ingram, Hart, Kuzma, Troy Brown Jr., 4th pick WIZARDS: Lonzo Ball, Eric Gordon, Solomon Hill, 2021 Lakers 1st round pick, Isaac Bonga LAKERS: ANTHONY DAVIS @J.R. @Clutch @cyberx
my dream scenario.... we somehow get hassan whiteside, jaylen brown and draft bol bol for PF/C development
Don't see it for Miami, with just a crappy pick or two from us. Need a third team to sweeten the pot for Miami which probably means giving up Capella.
