Perhaps, he's definitely susceptible to outside influence. I think the people around him took advantage of him. His will to do what is right for him despite what other people think is weak. The Warriors, brass and probably teammates, knew that.
He was way too dramatic. I wasn't paying attention and looked up and saw him breaking down crying, I thought they got the news that he tore several muscles or something. I've just never seen anyone react that way unless the injury is just gruesome can't look stuff like Hayward or PG13.
lol crocodile tears by the Warriors owner who is a known scumbag. I wouldn't put him past him to make a calculated move to play Durant. Think about this: 1) If Durant plays and they win, well worth it, especially if he might be leaving this offseason. They have nothing to lose. 2) If Durant injures his Achilles, he has a better chance to stay with the Warriors. They really had everything to gain by playing Durant. I am laughing at those forced tears. Deep down inside he is loving tonight's outcome. Warriors will continue to use Durant and Durant will continue to kneel down for them for another year at the very least.
More likely they knew they were losing him so they were willing to risk his health. Going to be interesting to see if they offer him a max extension. I doubt it. And they're probably correct in not offering him one.
If they did force him to play or push him to play he should say F them and go elsewhere. He could have a career-altering injury.
Why? i still think he will get the max from other teams easily. Unless he wants to stay with the warriors, i don't see him opting in.
I was thinking the same thing when he was suiting up, thay and the reports that the team was “frustrated” with him. They wouldn’t have risked it if he was curry
Isaiah Thomas 2.0. The doctors lied to him. Sacrificed KD careers to try to milk one more ring out of him because they knew he would leave. I don't like KD nor gsw. But that was a dirty move on gsw.
I can't believe the team let him play. It's f**king criminal. You don't put a decision like that on a competitive player like KD. You just don't. There's no way the team wasn't aware of the risk. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. I already hated Oakland. I hate them a hell of a lot more now, and I didn't think that was possible.
Still can't believe they ran him out there like it was no big deal and no restrictions. I was texting my friends telling them I was just waiting for his achilles to pop and it did. This makes me hate the Warriors even more.
