    They interviewed Hinch during the broadcast and he said Alvarez will be playing a lot.

    Really wish he could play first.

    Players still need rest. Jake will be the 4th OF that rotates through and comes in during late innings. Diaz would be the rotating infielder. Everyone gets lots of rest.

    I love Jake also

    But unless Alvarez can play 1B which it doesn't sound like he can, or unless they are going to keep Tucker at AAA all season which is very unlikely

    There just isn't gonna be a spot for him at some point
