Incorrect. Dominating offensively - is a reason. Dominating defensively - is a reason. Dominating when the lights are the absolute brightest and pressure is ramped up to the maximum - is a reason. This along with being a reason, is something Harden has failed to do unfortunately in every single post season run. Thus, after three reasons as stated above, I have formed my opinion. As you can see (hopefully) neither of the three reasons as stated above, have any consequence to KD playing or not. Goodness bloody gracious.

It was a perfect storm for them too. Kawhi wasn't on a supermax yet and hadn't played in over a year so they didn't have to gut their team for him. If Harden asked for a trade, the team he goes on would have to be gutted. Harden would've cost alot more than Derozan and Jako Poetl thats for sure. What if Raptors had to trade Siakam?

Let's just say if Harden and Kawhi traded places, Rockets would have lost anyway because our team is ****ing bad. HOWEVER, The Raptors woudn't have beaten Bucks either with Harden instead of Kawhi because he can't lockdown Giannis like Kawhi did, can't rebound like Kawhi did. the conclusion is Kawhi is a better and more versatile player than Harden by a long shot, but he's still not good enough carry this shitty roster anywhere either.
Kawhi is not 100x better, but he's better. The Rockets would have been stomped by the raptors, and they can no longer can hide behind the idea that they are the only ones who can play the warriors close.

Kawhi isn't the only one taking breaks. The Spurs have always given their players time because It really Is a rigorous season. Toronto gave him time to rest mentally and physically like pop treats his star players. Harden is not an iron man. Do u see how much tape is being wrapped around him all the time. He's probably taking some serious pain meds too. Harden could probably use 20 games off a season too.
