NBA Trade Suggestion: Robert Covington To Rockets, Clint Capela To Hawks In Proposed 3-Team

Lol has freaking Covington done any better? Dude's a freaking role player making 10M a year, CC is only 25 yrs old and a starting center making 16M a year. In terms of future impact CC has a better bet of contributing to helping the team win because he is younger and guess what, Rox need a center regardless.

NBA isn't March Madness, it is a going concern and you try to compete every year. Ok he flopped in the playoffs, its up to the coaches to find out what went wrong and fix it. Covington can't even help the Sixers get past Bucks how tf is he gonna help Rox beat the Warriors?

by your logic Anthony Davis's team didn't make playoffs, so CC is better than AD.

There is no maybe, Capela has yet to lead a team into the playoffs, he can’t even create his own shot or shoot a jumper to save his life, also his Ft shooting is just a tad better than mediocre.

 

Thibs pretty much got fired for that trade. How they didn’t take four first rounders from Houston is still beyond me. Sometimes you can do everything right but it still doesn’t work in your favor. There is no way Covington and saric could net them close to 4 first rounders

 

I agree, although that could change based on the protections of the picks involved...even though yeah, no one would trade 3 future picks for two good role players.
