The Spurs had no choice. Kawhi made up his mind to get out of town. The Spurs made a fire sale that kept Kawhi out of the West and salvaged best they could.
6th best player out of a possible 450 in the NBA....if only he would just move more he'd probably get ranked higher.
11 out of 14 people on their staff consider Curry to be the best player in the league. That's surprising. I wonder how much of that is in reaction to him leading the Warriors to the Finals without Kevin Durant.
I'm sure that was the trigger. But also raised awareness that curry has always been more impactful than Durant when you look at the numbers.
Over the last two seasons, people tend to forget just how dangerous Steph can be as he's given up touches and shots to keep KD engaged and happy. But he's still plenty terrifying when he needs to be.
Morey's happy for anything that puts a good spin on the Paul contract. Surprised to see Lowry and Jrue so high on that list. Very good players, obviously, but didn't think they'd crack the top 10.
For PLayoffs 1. Kawhi / KD 2. KD / Kawhi 3. Curry 4. LBJ 5. Freak Gap 6. Harden 7. Lilllard 8. Green Now if it was just regular season, then Harden would be top 3-5. But playoffs where it counts it's a different matter
It's no mark against him whatsoever if he wins the chip. Two time finals MVP (not yet) on two different teams. He is the truth.
How so even if he does....I have to judge a player on his talents. How can I give him points for having a team good enough so he can take time off. What if harden could take games off. Like I'm not trying to homer harden. To me it's just how I judge players. Durability is part of it. N what team u have. Cause like if u give ad or harden.....2 other allstars of course they would win at the highest level. That's just a general rule
