Saying he needs to be banned for bball from life and lose his means to make his income just to "make a statement to the world" just shows how out of touch you are. Obv this is totally unprofessional behavior from Abueva but acting like TJones did nothing wrong is just wrong, both of them played dirty and Abueva got suspended because he hit TJones in the neck while he only got hit in the balls.
Seems you are out of touch with the greater scenario here. Not at all defending the nutpuncher. He is facing the tribunal there - he will get what is due. But there are serious disciplinary issues with the home grown players there.
Maybe bc he just punched that guy in the balls. The only other guy that does that is Draymond Green and I hate him too.
ironically tjones was interviewed last week and was asked about abueva and he find him funny and kinda entertaining. seems like someone was curious and pushing the envelope on the level of craziness abueva is capable of. well i dont think he would kick a homeless man but that guy is cray cray.
He probably touched it but that other dude Abueva was acting, I bet it wasn't as serious as he made it look like.
There are def serious disciplinary issues with some PBA players but you lose credibility when you say a clothesline is supposed to get you banned for life. Donkey didnt even get suspended for kicking people in the nuts and Zaza Pachulia has faced 0 repercussions for giving several players season ending injuries. Newflash dirty players have always existed in basketball. If these players exist even in the NBA why are so shocked and chagrined when they show up in other leagues? At least no Philippine player has stepped on other people's faces like Kevin Love or given them career ending injuries like Zaza Pachulia. Kawhi Leonard is still dealing with the repercussions of what Zaza did to him but no, it's the player who got punched in the nuts who deserve a lifetime ban lol.

Honestly, the nut smack didn't look entirely intentional to me. From the looks of things (and what the announcers were saying), things had been escalating for a while. I think Jones was just trying to get up quickly and make an aggressive move, but he moved too fast, and with Abueva standing right over him, there was some unintended contact... That said, clearly Jones was happy with the results, which was pretty douchey, but I don't think that's how he planned for that to work out.
