As of May 11th, 2019, near the end of the conference semi-finals. Top 10 (no order): Kawhi Leonard James Harden Kevin Durant Steph Curry Giannis Antetokounmpo LeBron James Nickola Jokic (new entry) Damian Lilliard (new entry) Anthony Davis Joel Embiid HMs Russell Westbrook Ben Simmons Kyrie Irving Klay Thompson Paul George Kemba Walker Jimmy Butler Lamarcus Aldridge
Lebron is 2nd on the list based on reputation? There is no way I would take the current Lebron over the 4 players right below him.
1. Durant 2. Lebron 3. Giannis 4. Kawhi 5. Curry 6. Harden 7. George 8. Embiid 9. Davis 10. Jokic That list *should* be different, but playoffs matter
"Is"? It's sad seeing Chris Paul's name in so many of these posts. It explains Trump's strength in Texas, that's for sure.
I think Lebron has fallen a tad, even the King has to prove himself again next season.....I would think he is still Top 5 or Top 6. Lillard has to be 7th or 8th......he has deserved that this postseason.
In no particular order, except the last three are the bottom three--the first seven are the only ones I consider true superstars: Kawhi Leonard James Harden Stephen Curry Kevin Durant Giannis Antetokounmpo Anthony Davis LeBron James Paul George Joel Embiid Nicola Jokic
Good lord like half of you still think CP3 is a top ten player??? I think RocketDream's list is about right - you could put Lillard in that second group as well.
1A) Lebron 1B) KD 1C) Curry 1D) Kawhi 1E) Harden 2) Giannis 3) Lillard 4) George 5) Jokic 5 way tie up top. I don’t think there is a clear cut best player anymore. Most impactful for playoffs? Steph and Kawhi. Most unguardable? Durant. Best offensive player? Harden. Best package? Lebron. You can shuffle around the next 10 anywhere as far as I’m concerned. Giannis has been good for a year so he doesn’t have the track record of everyone else.

KD - Best Two Way Player In The League Harden - Walking Top Ten Offense of All-Time LeBron - I Still Believe Kawhi - Really Showed How Consistent He Can Be In The Playoffs Curry - Offenses Worse Than Harden's Without KD/Can't Play 70 Games a Season/Team Literally Takes Him Off the Floor in Defense Only Possessions Giannis - Overrated Permin Defense/No Off The Dribble Jumper Embiid - Injuries, Consistency, Perimeter Defense Jokic - Giant Fat Baby Who Is Awesome Against All But Two Teams Lillard - Can Win You a Series, Great Shooter, Extreme Defensive Liability, Needs to Be a Better Passer AD - Needs to Get to The Playoffs Next Year
Top tier (no order) Harden Kawhi Curry Giannis LeBron Kevin Durant Boderline top tier Paul George Second tier Embiid Nikola Lillard Honorable mentions: Kemba, Victor Oladipo, Tatum (despite having a "poor" year), Anthony Davis, Jimmy Butler, Luka, D. Mitchell, Murray... I'm sure I'm forgetting some I also think Tatum has a breakout year next year and Ben Simmons shows signs of being a better shooter which will change his impact a lot. Intentionally left off top list: Irving, Westbrook, Rudy Golbert, Karl-Anthony Towns
