Roy Rogers' role, according to NYT article: Makes sense that the second set of eyes for a coach that is gone is also out.
I'll miss his halftime interviews. Best of luck to him & Jeff. Meanwhile, keep the head stubborn mule and fire his assistants/bring in new ones who are gonna do the coaching anyways.
Or, it may improve. Don't always have to be all doom and gloom. Why don't we wait to see who the replacements are before throwing in the towel.
Our overall FG% D was average last year. But our 3pt fg% D was #1 in the league. We need to maintain a good 3pt D to have a chance next year.
Well...without Bzdelik this year we were certainly bottom 5-10. Defense was atrocious to start the year. Not saying it’ll be THAT bad, but it will certainly be much worse, and certainly not championship-level like it needs to be. I guess we’ll see...but continuity is important. We’ll see what they do.
Roy's a very humble, low-key guy in person. I'm not sure if that helps or hurts him as a coach, but it makes me hope he lands in a good spot somewhere. He's got 4 kids and a house in Jersey to support. And I'm going to miss those socks. Dude has the best sock game in the league by far.
