What the hell do you expect him to say or do? He built a team that came very close to beating one of the 2-3 greatest teams ever assembled. The next year he was told by the owner not to go into the luxury tax. Even with almost no financial means, he had a deal to get JaMychal Green and the Grizzlies backed out at the last minute. I think so, aside the fact that a 2 is a guard, i think if you look at our roster: - guards: Harden, Paul, Gordon and potentially Rivers - wings: PJ, Clark and potentially House, Shumpert, Green The hole is definitely on the 3-4 spot/s.
I also like the confirmation that they're going to bring in someone external for the coaching slot. I always assumed the reason they didn't in September (when Bzdelik left) was because it was too late in the calendar, but nice to have it confirmed that they won't just reshuffle the existing staff and will instead pursue an outside upgrade.
