They claim to be against racism unless it’s directed at white people, then it’s just fine (or doesn’t even count as racism lol).”

I just denied it, so again, what you are posting is nonsensical. That’s being kind and, again, it isn’t true. You seem to have some bizarre ideas about “liberals” that you have clearly gotten from extremist media sources. There are some liberals that one could call extreme, no doubt about that, but to make broad statements like you are doing defeats your argument, it doesn’t support it. If you are not a Republican, then if you continue to post like you are, you would fall into merely the “Far Right Extremist” category. If that’s a category you enjoy, so be it. I’ll wait to see if you continue to go down this path, or if you are interested in genuine political discussion. So far, I haven’t seen any evidence of it.

I never said it was your biggest concern. However you specifically mentioned racism against white people. As a white person I would like to know how you personally have suffered from racism.

I am so damn far from extreme right! If we’re talking about racism, I am against it in all forms. I grew up in Prince Georges County, amongst a very diverse population in which I was a minority. I made lifelong friends from my childhood and I am in the minority of them too. I lived on perhaps the most diverse college campus in the country when I attended the University of Houston. I’ve never really been exposed to much of the far right in my life, except for a couple of redneck cousins. I mean, who doesn’t have a couple of redneck cousins, right? I grew up Irish catholic in a very democrat household in a working class neighborhood. However, the Democratic party is not what it was then. I think we can see what Democratic leadership does to communities, especially working class communities. I don’t have to go into much detail unless you’re clueless about Baltimore, Detroit, DC, etc. Someone on here insinuated that the right lies with impunity while basically saying that the left can’t be accused of the same thing. Do I need to go into detail and give bullet point examples of the lefts dishonest deeds over the years? No, I don’t. It’s just blatant hypocrisy that should be laughed at rather than trying to engage with the source.

To deny that a double standard does exist in our culture is just plain foolish. I can turn on my TV and watch a show called “Dear White People”. My kids see that advertised on tv. That is just a stupid example that just popped in my head but it still proves the double standard. Im not denying that racism is still prevalent in this society against minorities too, of course it is. Yet it doesn’t really exist in those who are more intelligent. However, this does not include open season on white people like you see in the example I just gave. There are many other examples too and Im sure we all see it. That’s a cultural issue that needs to be addressed. I don’t like my kids thinking its ok for others to judge them for the color of their skin. Go figure!

In this thread I am saying that the democrats need the division in races to succeed. This is just truth and it’s reaching levels of embarrassing transparency. The left screams about the right selling their soul for Trump. While that may be true, the left should take notice and come together on their policies. Communist Sanders pulled half of Hillary’s hipsters away and she couldn’t connect with the working class. The left pissed on themselves just enough to lose to Trump. Arrogance. I grew up in a Democratic household. My parents were FDR Democrats who lived through the Depression and a war my father fought in. I remember seeing “Whites Only” signs at the pool and restrooms at the local park. My father went from working 3 jobs during the late ‘40’s and during the ‘50’s to being a department chair at a Houston university while still in his 30’s. He helped integrate that university by hiring one of the first Black professors in its history. I don’t need a lecture about racism.

I don’t care what you think about Bernie and I don’t care what you think about O’Rourke. Not when you are posting blanket vicious and untrue attacks against “liberals.” I don’t like Bernie, either, but the man is far from being a Communist. If you think he is, you have no clue about what a Communist is. I think Beto O’Rourke has found his level of the Peter Principal. So what? You post like a far-right extremist. If you walk like a duck and quack like a duck, I have to ask, are you a duck? Looks like it to me. And politics? It’s how our country elects those who run it. Our system of government is under attack by a hostile foreign power, while we have a president who denies it happened in 2016, and denies it is happening now.
