My point is that all rings aren’t equal as far as personal accolades go. Dirk gets a ton of respect for his ring. He lead that team to the promise land. Without him, the Mavs wouldn’t have even come close. There’s no talk about Dirk deserving it or if he’s an all time great or clutch or anything negative. He stuck it out old school style and never quit.

KD and Boogie, not so much. GS is well on their way to another title without them. Yes, some successes are more valuable than others.

Let’s be real about it. Lots of Allstars out there could do what Cousins did this year. Give up money for a year to buy a ring. Most don’t though because it’s cheap and fake.
