Hey, I’m just repeating what I was told.

Don’t feel too bad, I thought it was “Michael Strawberry” when I heard the name and said “Who?”

Yet another guy with Celtics ties.

Apparently Shrews was a top guy for Stevens but wants to be a college head coach which is why he left Brad.

He's a noted defense guy for Stevens. However, he apparently prefers college because of long term relationship building and didn't like the wheeling and dealing of the NBA. LOL wrong team to join buddy!

Sad. Fire MDA not the guys who can actually can coach with Xs and Os.

MDA is fools gold come on people. Lets not settle for regular season wins. I don't look up to the sad Steve Nash Suns of the 2000s and you shouldn't either. Maybe MDA is a regular season coach and cheer leader but he is not a NBA championship coach.

Anyone but MDA please. Let's win a the finals!

    Down with MDA!

Ok, now names dropping. I wasn't aware of him, but apparently he was an assistant under Brad Stevens.
Though, it is interesting it sounds like he is an *offensive coach.*

Articles I read said he helped "build the Celtics defense"

I admittedly know NOTHING about him.

Ah, ok. But the Rockets investigating Stevens' coaching staff doesn't surprise me.

Same. He's also young-ish which probably fits the mold of what they want. He likely buys into analytics. Really we shouldn't be surprised for them to hire people we know nothing about I guess.

My memory could be off, but I don't remember a lot of excited clutchfans when Jeff Bizdelik's name was mentioned in association with the top assistant the first time around.

Brad Stevens trusted him with the Celtics defense.

He also was very good at chemistry building and relationship building with players.

I did not know much about him either but Stevens was upset that he left..... he has been looking for a way to exit the Celtics for awhile, he almost took an assistant job at a small college to get away.
