When Springer hits the ball, it doesn't look like it's just been crushed. It's just character of his swing. By contrast, when Correa hits it, the ball looks a gunshot leaving the bat. But, man, George's hits go far. It's crazy.
I was in Boston for a series last year and there is nothing better then to hear those fans absolutely go quite. I have to drive up to Seattle to watch them live now...
Anyone remember the last time the Astros started the year 30-15? Yep, that would be the 2017 championship season.
Yeah... the truth is that the Astros are just REALLY REALLY good and deep. A disgusting embarrassment of riches if you are a fan of another team. AAA has a number of guys that should be on the cusp of the big leagues but there is no space for them. The Astros are so good and deep it is easy to forget Altuve isn’t playing. The Astros have a guy hitting 500 in May in AAA and 416 on the year... and the Astros don’t even need him right now.
Can you imagine Springer in the HR Derby? He'd swing himself out within 10 pitches, unless they give him a solid 20 secs between, and some oxygen and gatorade, as hard as the guy goes....I want to see it.
Oh yes. They need to be humbled. Big time. What they've experienced is unprecedented. Too spoiled, and they're total assholes in rubbing it into everybody. And New Englandahs are pretty terrible people outside of sports, as well. That young ******* with his poster of how young he is and how many parades Bahston has had in his lifetime sums it all up.
It must feel bittersweet for George Springer being a Red Sox Fan, and getting revenge on them for Last Year. He was Excited.
