    This is why I can give LBJ a little slack, these guys are a damn near unbeatable with KD or without. Nobody else has beaten them in a series, since the 2012-13 season against the Clippers. Last year, along with the 2016 NBA Finals and 2013-14 1st rounds are the only game 7s, they've played in. The last time, they lost a series in less than 7 games was against 2012-13 San Antonio Spurs.


    This team is on par with the Shaq-Kobe Lakers, the Bulls, Showtime Lakers, and 60s/80s Celtics. They're on another level.

    Remember when everyone was trying to anoint Dame during that OKC series? What has he done since then?

    vs Denver: 25, 5, and 6 on 40/29/80 shooting splits...the dude went 3-17 in game 7, a huge choke that no one talked about because CJ saved his ass

    vs GS so far: 4-12, and 6-16

    Fools on here were really talking about Playoff Dame>Playoff Harden. LMAO!! Don’t ever insult Harden like that again. If Harden played like Dame we would’ve been swept...

    Dame couldn’t even get a shot off last game at the end getting stripped

    now we all know if that was Harden he’d be getting crucified, but I bet it’s crickets for Dame

    even with all of Harden’s flaws, Dame still can’t hold his jockstrap

    Had they kept that team together they would have eventually won it all. They got cheap and let Harden go. That’s where they failed.

    The Spurs and GS kept their core together for many years and it paid off.

    There is no guarantee though. Lots of teams are bad and just stay bad. You still have to draft wisely, keep the right players, let go of the right players, spend when appropriate, and keep the right coach.

    It will be really interesting to see what the Mavs do. They are building the way I think is best. They have a good coach to develop their guys through the process too.

    I don't think I'm not one to hate on certain teams, but I'm on the anybody-but-the-Worriers bandwagon to win it all. If gives me no comfort whatsoever that the team that beat the Rockets end up winning it all. I don't understand that line of thinking.

    My level of hate for them is getting to Stars Wars dark side level.

    I'm making St. Louis bbq ribs today. Oven style. My oldest son, a huge Rockets fan, is coming back from Baltimore. Poor guy got so frustrated with the Game 1 loss, I advise him to not watch the rest of the series. Daddy knows best!

    Shaun Livingston Likely To Retire In Offseason

    Shaun Livingston is likely to retire after the current season.

    Livingston told The Athletic at the beginning of April that he was seriously considering retirement at the end of the season.

    "Yeah. For sure. Absolutely," said Livingston at the time. "It’s just all the signs on the wall. And just more so from a physical standpoint. If I’m healthy and having fun, then I want to play. But physically, if I’m not … Like, I put so much work in my body just to get back to playing basketball, let alone get to this point where I’m at.

    "So now that it’s getting harder. Like this year, I’ve struggled with injuries more than any other year I’ve been on the Warriors."

    Livingston has only $2 million in guaranteed money on his $8 million contract next season with the Golden State Warriors.

    The Warriors are hoping Jacob Evans can grow into a point guard role to help replace Livingston.
