    Step 1: Acquire Simmons
Step 2: Immediately let Gerald know he can go back to his couch
Step 3: Hire Ray Allen as a shooting coach, pay him anything he wants
Step 4: Lock Ray and Ben in a gym and don't let them out until October
Step 5: Convert Ray's contract from coach to 10-minutes-per-game offensive gun
    Step 6: Reap the benefits

Broussard knows we basically shoot nothing but threes...right?

I think the Sixers would technically have the cap space to absorb CP3's contract(or at least they're damn close), but even if they did, why would they make this trade? Paul is 34 years old. He's still a good player. But the Sixers are a young team outside of Redick. It makes no sense to bring in someone at that stage of his career unless they believed they had only one or two years left to win a title.

On this topic though, serious question to everyone here. And be honest. Do you think CP3's contract is movable?

Simmons is looking like a prick, can't shoot...yet. With that said, on paper, if the Sixers call the Rockets trying to see if there's a chance to swap Simmons for Paul, i don't know how you turn that down if you're the Rockets...Simmons is still super young and some sort of outside shot away from being a star, he's big, can pass, run, rebound, defend...he's still super cheap for a couple of years...

    Too bad that in reality:

    - Sixers will never make that offer
    - the Rockets might still say no

They're about to pay Butler and Harris. Have already paid Embiid. I don't think they have room for CP3.

No, I don't think CP3s contract is moveable. I think our best chance was to take advantge of dumb Magic Johnson last off-season. I don't think anyone will take him now.

We already have plenty of inconsistent shooters, why would we want an even worse shooter in exchange for CP3. GTFOH Broussard

The only way to move CP3 is package him alongside Harden.

Only a total idiot will let you dump a $40m injury prone 35yr old on them

There is not a single scenario where Philadelphia considers this. You guys can knock his shooting all you want.

He has played 2 NBA Seasons. He is turning 23 in July.

He doesn't even try to shoot. That's the hysterical part about his game. He literally won't take a three pointer. 17-9-8 were his stats. WITHOUT A SHOT he nearly averaged a triple double. Add on this over a steal a game. You are talking crazy if you think in any way CP3 has value like this.

Ben Simmons averaged 17-9-8 and is ridiculed. He is literally the second coming of Harden in the sense that people won't just accept his game is what his game is. They want to fit him in a bubble BUT THEY CAN'T

Ben Simmons is the ultimate modern day player.

I wasn’t high on CP0 for most of the regular season, but I kept quiet waiting to see if he could elevate to a new level once the playoffs started, and well, I thought he was pretty garbage, especially against GS...he had me heated at the end of game 3 and pretty much all of game 5

I’m usually watching the games relaxed chillin with my feet up, but CP3 and Clint during game 5...my god, I legit hated them

Kinda sucks that the Sixers didn't hire Broussard as general manager, maybe the Rockets should fire Morey and hire someone like Mr.Sauces, so he can make a trade like Harden for LaMarcus Softridge since we need more lenght/skill in the frontcourt and we already have a PG :D

would help Philly by having a strong veteran presence there, another coach on the floor along w/ JJ Redick. maybe he'd help beat Toronto w/ all that leadership and experience.

lol, but it'd suck for us because Ben Simmons can't shoot at all, and he's averaging like 15 ppg in the playoffs in the East lol...
