Over the course of the last two seasons, McHugh has been domesticated to a bullpen role/mentality. And I'm not mad if he performs the role.
arlingtons broadcast has nothing to talk about, so the other guy, not dimwitkowski, is bragging about Luhnow and Strom and how they hired him as pitching coach. LOL
Not at all. My wishing Martin would’ve finished the inning was purely based out of enjoying seeing him pitch. The game was obviously pretty in hand by the time McHugh came in and I think it’s good to get him some stress-free innings. Was just enjoying seeing Martin working and wanted to see him pitch some more. Completely understand taking him out though.
Nice to see McHugh get out of that jam. Hope this will be a confidence builder for him as unless he is traded or someone in the starting rotation gets hurt I do not see McHugh as a starter for the foreseeable future.
Yeah, I don't see him going back into the rotation. Also, you can't ignore that he still has a 3.00 WHIP and a 5.40 ERA for today.
Astros have had innings when they scored 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 runs. Need 6 here in 8th after Valdez polishes off Rangers here.
