Rockets should now be known as CHOKE CITY until they prove us wrong. Disgraceful team.

If we are being real, we have been choke city since we lost to Utah in 1997.
Last year we were going to win it all but choked in game 6 missing 27? 3pointers in a row.

    Salty fanbase right about now.

Can't label Houston choke city b/c the Astros broke through fairly recently. So there.

They didn't choke - they were beaten by a better more experienced team.

THIS.........Been watching the Rockets fail for awhile now (along with the B.O.B. show), but the Stros still have potential so it's not a complete Choke a thon.

As reactionary as this thread (and others) is, it's 100% accurate I'm afraid.

The franchise is fundamentally flawed -- yeah they're going up against the "greatest" team of all time. But this was an all-time choke job, considering the circumstances.

Moreyball is intriguing, but at the end of the day it's flawed alchemy. It just doesn't work.

Quite literally this franchise has no direction as currently constructed -- they're losers who can't get past their "rival" (is it truly a rivalry when the Warriors are undefeated in the playoffs against the Rockets?).

Stubbornness (and a hard cap) will prevent [sorely needed] major changes from occurring, and a whole generation of prospective Rockets fans will have disappeared by the time the team is able to seriously compete again in 7-15 years.
