Damn, we have Mother’s Day plans. I’ll either have to get divorced, or miss the game. Well, looks like I’ll be back on the market soon
We’re staying Saturday night with a couple of good friends who live about an hour outside of Austin. The guy and I have known each other since grade school, but he’s developed a weird conviction that if he watches an important game, be it the Astros, the Texans, or the Rockets, our team is going to lose. Were it anyone else, we’d stay and watch the game before driving back home to Southwest Austin, but not this time. He’ll drive me crazy, otherwise.
I’m flying out tonight for Denver and working their next week. Omg I could be at game 1 in Denver on Tuesday !!! Please god please. Gave my ticket tonight to a buddy. I do have direct tv on flight tho
NBA has a great potential line-up for Sunday. 3 Game 7s with the headliner being a game that could end a dynasty. Will be watching refs closely in first quarter. If we can get a couple of ticky tack fouls on Draymond/Klay/Steph, should be a good night. With Durant out, Warriors can still win but they cannot survive foul trouble for any of those three.
That is 12:30 local time. Crowd should be less enthused that early in the day as opposed to building hype all day long. Also, the short handed Warriors have to basically play two games in 36 hours. Not only will Steph and Klay need to play probably 45 minutes in each game, they both need to stay out of foul trouble. The Rockets have a decided advantage in this situation, so they need to capitalize. Absolutely the pressure is on Harden and CP3 and off GS.
