Agree with everything but the west being up for grabs.

If the Rockets beat the warriors...we will kill nuggets in 5. And then move on to the Bucks.

If I wasn’t a rockets fan I would be rooting for them for this reason. If it’s GSW in the finals again I’m not watching.

So what you're saying is it's not your fault that this is the way it is, but since it is this way, the Rockets should get all the calls because we're all sick of the Warriors.... That sir, is ****ing pathetic.

Is it wrong for me to think he's missing a chromosome?

This has nothing to do with me. I am not playing.

What I am saying is I believe the Rockets could win this straight up, for good reasons and homer reasons. But it won't be straight up. So instead of pretending like the team is failing on their own merits. I take a nuanced approach and try and separate what is their fault and what is not their fault. I find it lazy to simply point to the outcome of a game as the end of the discussion. Since there is a ton of BS in the playoffs, I would like the Rockets to get the respect they have earned over the years. This wont happen unless we get through the Warriors, which will not happen if the NBA does not allow either a fair game or a tilted one in our favor. I would MUCH rather us win without controversial calls in our favor. WE ALL WOULD.

Your point is built off the fault premise that we want and need help. Nobody is saying that.

I know it is meant as a joke but FYI I pretty much know that you could be pretty 'average intellectually' without a chromosome. (from a friend)

Things get tricky missing more than one.

You need to back up what you're saying with facts. And the facts are against your argument:

Silver started as commissioner in 2014 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commissioner_of_the_NBA#Adam_Silver_(2014–present)

Warriors started their 'Dynasty' in 2014 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_State_Warriors#2014–present:_A_new_NBA_dynasty

    Coincidence?

This is turning into a thread for people who've turned into conspiracy theorists in order to deal with their difficult emotions of another Rockets outing in the playoffs. I'll show myself out.

I agree on market size in Houston area, but I don't think they draw as many viewers from other local markets. But w/ how global everything is, maybe it won't matter.

Harden vs Giannis would be a great ratings match up. Especially among even casual basketball fans. There is something about the 2 MVP favorites going head to head for their 1st ring that would bring people to the screen.

I agree. I don't think Denver has a shot against either team. Jokic is solid but Murray is inconsistent and apart from those 2 guys, Denver doesn't really scare me. I feel our defense, with Tucker and EGO, would easily take Murray out of the game and Clint could slow down Jokic. He would be much better built for a Denver match up.
