Probably not but this year is probably our last realistic shot at a championship with this core.

Tucker Paul should continue to regress every year our chances will keep shrinking.

Last year was definitely our best shot.

Sadly, even if Durant leaves this is it for the Rockets. We were able to squeeze out a bit of juice from CP3 this year, but he is about dried up.

I'm not mad the money we invested into him, I always knew the end game would be that we would be stuck with a bad contract, it just sucks that it came a year too early. Overall it's been a fun ride, but I've conceded that we can't beat the warriors. There is always something, whether it is bad calls, going cold at inopportune times, James turning the ball like crazy, an injury, etc.

It is what it is. Hopefully I can continue enjoying James regular season performance, because we are definitely not building a championship contender around him anymore considering the lack of assets, our difficult payroll situation and our cheap ass owner.

If there is a bright side to all of this is that House has played so shitty that we should be able to get him back at a decent contract so the House Only Fans will be happy about that!

Gotta agree. We weren’t beating them without some luck even before the series started. Now the warriors have luck and refs on their side. It’ll take nothing short of a miracle for Houston to pull off the win.

We’ve been shooting better than them this series yet lost 2 close ones. Don’t expect to continue shooting well like this.

Sometimes you can feel when it’s your year. Gut feeling- No way rockets win the series. GS got talent, refs, and luck on their side. Too much to overcome

Phoenix gets the second pick. Trade Harden to Phoenix for Ayton, Josh Jackson, 2nd pick (Ja Morant). No hard feelings and Harden went to Arizona St so there’s that.

Trade CP3 to the Lakers for Kuzma, Ball and their lotto pick.

Trade a Capela for a solid return which you could definitely get.

    Ball
    Morant
    Kuzma
    Jackson
    Ayton

Suck for 2-3 years and add lotto picks.

Let MDA coach them and completely change the pace.
    ....

    Lol... just kidding

    ....

    Or am I??

The one thing that I did like tonight... post eye injury a Harden was just “solid”. But yeah... the team doesn’t have enough.

it was over when we spent all our cap space on overpaying cp3.

oh well, Harden will just have to live with wasting his prime losing every year to the warriors, at least it's not as bad as westbrook's legacy.

I bet harden will look back on this and wonder how in the world is CP3 getting paid more than himself during this entire stretch.

Yeah, we should dump him and get one of those GMs whose teams have beaten the Warriors in the playoffs.

Like... um... David Griffin is pretty much it.

We aren’t winning in the future either with 40m a year tied up in a soon to be useless Chris pail.

If Lebron picked Houston instead of the Lakers, we’d be able to beat them.

But nope, Lebron is a poop head.

Lebron knows how this works, he left Cleveland to join Wade and Bosh and got his first 2 rings.... how about helping Harden and your buddy CP3? Nope? Oh ok.... cool.

Go all "Bad Boys" on em.

Interesting idea. We're already hated by most of the league. Might as well get something for it.

We playing around a bunch of midgets and a soft center. What do you expect on rebounding?

Winning 4 out of the next 5 is a very tall order.

As Mike said a thousand times : "We don't adjust. If we play how were supposed to play, we win. We don't worry about other teams."

    You all wasting your time.

Gentlemen sweep is most likely as they look ready to take out this Rockets team.

    Didn't need ref help either.

Imagine if the refs did help.

Rockets didn't lost with blowout but they don't look dangerous either

    Houston is Houston.

    Astros it is.

You know Texans will not make playoffs this year. That is the plan with the FA and draft. No all in mindset so at least 2 other, maybe all 3 other in AFC south looks better.

At least they will have picks.
