All those players take midrange shots from anywhere. Harden is limited by what front office tells him. 3s or layups and that's it.

false. Harden and cp3 aren’t limited to anything. They do what they want on the court that they feel is best to put Houston in position to win

Lol at people saying Harden is limited. Let's see any other player drop 40 plus points a game if they're getting the same defensive treatment Harden was getting.

Then why don't teams employ that strategy to other players?

Because Harden is the most ungaurdable player in the league. It is easier to guard the other players 1v1. That’s why they force Harden into help. They can’t guard him 1v1 and other teams feel they can guard other players. It is really is step back that is unguardable in combination with his handles/crafty-ness

Can we put Capela on KD and hope he doesn't get in foul trouble? I'm serious. I rather waste our efforts stopping Steph and Klay. I also would like to keep Green from being a distributor and force him to make shots instead. KD is going to get his regardless who we put on him and there is no way he is going to be able to carry the load by himself if we can limit Klay and Steph as long as we are hitting shots on the other end.

Easier to guard other players, so they just let them go off 45 or 50 points and also lose the game and the entire series? all the while Rockets and Harden have been struggling since game 3 (outscored 301 to 295 by the Jazz)? If that strategy is so effective in EVERY situation, it makes zero sense to not give it a try on Kawhi, Durant or Lillard. I don't think NBA scouts are that dumb.

Some people aren't lucky enough to have a choice. That makes him no less a fan. People have to make a living, even if their job doesn't revolve around the Rockets schedule.

Kawhi, Durant and Lillard are all shooting with crazy efficiency and also winning games. If that strategy is so effective on every player, then you gotta be braindead not to try it on those players. Let's see what the Bucks do with Kyrie Irving, 'cause Budenholzer was the first one to come up with that defensive scheme.

Not favored to win, but let's at least come out swinging.
Let's give 'em a game. Let them know we are here.
    Game faces.
