That would be simply evil. I love the idea! Can’t see it happening, though. Any season ticket holders who sold them their seats (and our guys, or Tilman, or Daryl, could certainly afford whatever they cost) would likely be strung up. Seating across from them would be nearly as good, but equally unlikely. However, just knowing the Rockets are already there will drive them bonkers, in my opinion. Jinx in full swing! The other obvious benefit? The Clippers, as if they need any more incentive, will take it as an insult. I don’t doubt that some phone calls will be made to Rivers by Rivers, by management to the Clippers management, and from some friends some of them obviously have on the Rockets. Won’t matter. They’ll still be ticked off! What a great idea.

The Rockets could not attend Game 6 in Oakland because Game 6 is in LA.
    Game 5 was in Oakland.
Game 7 will be in Oakland.
It would be cool if they DID attend a Game 7 in Oakland on Sunday, the ultimate trolljob!
But if they are in Oakland, and have to stay there from Friday to Tuesday, then it is smart so they can adjust their internal clocks.
I hope it's Tuesday, that way its a night game because HOU doesn't get up for early weekend games.

But it would be the most convenient since the West Coast night games are going to KILL Houstonians' sleep time.

    If Sunday starts the series:
    Sun Game 1: good sleep
    Tues Game 2: bad sleep
    Fri Game 3: good sleep
    Sun Game 4: good sleep
Tues Game 5: bad sleep (if necessary)
Thurs Game 6: bad sleep (if necessary)
Sun Game 7: good sleep (if necessary)

Can they take a detour down to Game 6 in L.A. for additional research?

Oh, man, ugh, this is spot-on. No matter who the Rockets face, Rockets' fans are going to lose at least one game. Staying up for those two Utah games destroyed my sleep schedule for this week.

Hell, still recovering from “bad sleep” just from watching LA kick Oakland’s ass from here to Sunday. On target, man.

It’s not a stunt. People reading too much into it. The Warriors/Clippers game won’t end until Friday midnight. Then they have to take a long flight out on Saturday, get used to another time zone and play an early Sunday game which is not good. It makes sense to already be in California and be prepared.

Jinx or not, this is a smart move logistically. There is a good chance we will play on Sunday at Oakland. We don't want to wait until Sat to go there since we can afford to get in earlier because of the extra time.
