I am under the impression that Watson could be ruined as a franchise QB without better OL help this year.

The Texans need to trade up to take one of the top 2 or 3 offensive tackles.

Tonight, will show how important it is to the Texans to keep Deshaun standing up in the pocket.

Not buying the Texans moving up at all. Doesn’t make any sense to.

It does make sense if they are confident the guy will be a franchise LT.

Keeping Watson upright is more important than Andrew Luck currently carving up our secondary.

They have to keep their draft capital in tact. Trading one of their 2s or even a 3 when there is an even larger CB need (imo) would be poor asset management.

The hit rate for Db's in the second round is drastically different then the hit rate for OL in the first round.

You would really have to screw the pooch to not get your franchise guy in the first round.

If they move at all, I hope it is back.
Another pick in the second round would be golden for this team.

Trading up would be a goofy move for this team. Way too many needs to fill and someone will fall I guarantee it. I seriously hope they’re keeping options open to elite talent at ALL positions. You literally can’t go wrong taking BPA, there’s only upside.

There will be some excellent OL talent still available in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
Remember, all the rookies will have to prove themselves in the bigtime.

    Bleacher report mock:
    1. Andre Dillard, but then they say it may take a trade up to get him. Huh? He ain't falling that far.
    2. Eric McCoy (ol) Texas am
    3. Julian love (cb) notre Dame.
I wish he wouldve said, "if Houston had a pick in either of the first 2 rounds, they probably wouldve came and got me earlier"
