His take was close to complete garbage in my opinion. Not worth listening to, he was basically low-key hating. But then again I'm biased and may have misinterpreted...

I'd like to hear what Grant Hill said last year. He's probably completely contradicting himself, and said last year that Rockets didn't look sharp against Jazz and would probably lose 1-4 to Warriors.

This is likely classic reinvention of history, like everyone predicted a tough 7-game series vs Warriors. No one did, and we didn't play any better vs Utah last year as we did this year.

Quin Snyder had the best hair gel in that series.

Just doesn’t seem like Hill watched the Rox post all star break because other than a few weird give away games they blew, they were dominant after the break.

Now the last three games ... yeah... they looked like crap, but still won 2 of 3 of those games.

I get it that this team is higher risk of self imploding than last years historically great team, but they are still a real contender, and I see GS in the same boat the way they are playing below their historic greatness the previous 4 years.

The title this year is anyone’s to snag and the Rockets have a chance if they play the way they played to close out the regular season. They also are perfectly capable of caking their pants late in games and giving up an easy win to the other team.

Pretty much everyone said warriors were gonna sweep us or 4-1. I can recall no one really believed us. Specially the tnt like when Gs won in Houston to go up 2-1 they called it a done series. 4-1 as well.

He's kind of right, last year CP3 + Harden we often had two super stars playing every game, this year about 1.5 super stars show up each game. Hopefully the additional pieces we brought in make up for it.

For some reason I’m worry about the bucks more than the warriors.

Especially after those clips where they play the leader boards for playoff stats.

Why do people kept saying we looked great same time last year??? we didn't play great at all same time last year either, we had shallow rotation, EG was just off most of Timberwolves/Jazz series. It took CP taking over game 5 last year to win that series.

The defense was winning us games last year, it still looks pretty good.

Did the blowouts in games 1 and 2 skew everyone's perception of this series?

Nobody predicted a 4-1 result, most pundits claimed 6 or 7 games would be needed to dispatch the Jazz. Some even picked Utah.

Now suddenly Houston is unimpressive because the team ground out a couple of defensively-oriented wins to close out the series. Houston has to win by 20+ every game to get any sort of respect

Beating the Jazz in 5 is INSANELY impressive.

They were a pretty damn good team.

I do love the fact that the next team we play will not have Rudy Gobert on the roster. He can change opponents game in the lane, best in the league.

I so hope we win a championship this year for nothing else, but having the media snippets hating on our team, on Harden, Morey, MDmA. Reviewing that video 10, 15, 20 years down the line would be fun. This hatorade didn't exist in the same easily documentable form back in 94/95. It would be fun to prove both that the hate is real and our Rox proved them all wrong.

    I hope!...**** that I believe!

He was the biggest factor for them keeping this thing as close as it was. The guy is really good.
