Never said I was. Just have been lucky enough in life to meet some great people. Nothing I say is 100% and I am ok with that. I pass along what I hear from people I trust that have been involved with this organization and a few others in town. You dont have to believe it. But I know how this board works. Been here long enough to understand that unless you bat 100% you are seen as a holic clone. I pass along for the common fan that doesnt have connections. They dont have to believe either.
Um...you don't know what Clowney is asking for. He is probably asking for Mack and Donald money. Now there are 2 similar players with similar contracts. The market is set. Give Clowney a million more than Clark. Done.
Yup. For #2 to be true, you have to believe Clowney was going to accept $25-$30M less guaranteed than what Mack/Donald got. Given what’s been reported and what Clowney has said himself, I don’t think he would’ve considered it. Hopefully he does now.

A bunch of smoke. They missed their window to capitalize with the chiefs. Them looking around after seeing what Seattle got should be enough to show just how incompetent the front office truly is. Totally reactionary, never forward thinking. A great way to piss players off and to get hosed in deals. They've had months to do this. Of course there is still the summer and camp but if you wanted top dollar, you missed out. Get ready for a gm and head coach search in the next few years.
