ClutchFans Game Thread: Jazz @ Rockets 4/17/2019 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 2)

Harden and Paul combined for 13 assists and 14 turnovers (yikes). We once again won convincingly, but we can still play even better. 18 turnovers won't work on the road.

ladies and gents, we have officially reached, god mode.

 

Am I the only one that thinks we aren't playing that well? Our shots are falling but we continue to make bad turnovers, offense gets stuck for stretches, give up lots of open 3s. I really was not entirely impressed with us. We're gonna have to be better to beat gsw (who imo is better without boogie)

Hey what was Drexler's 2nd goof tonight? The first one was about the ball being in the "syllable".

 

I agree, we played well in stretches, but there were some length of time where we just lost focus or something and kept turning it over

I was about to make a thread “Greatest Rockets Team of All Time.” Hyperbole, but this team looked phenomenal to me today. We rested players when we took huge leads. Paul, Harden and Capela look in pique form, and supporting players like Gordon and House are producing.

Harden and others echoed more of your opinion after the game.

 

It happens when you have a big lead. The big thing is they didn’t panic and made a run back and never looked back

Green comes in if someone is in foul trouble, injured or stinking up the joint

 

Difference between last year’s Harden and this year’s obvious. Ego more consistent and everyone healthy = unstoppable.

 

I bet like 10-12 of those turnovers were in the second half . Harden had like 3 in a row when going for his last assist lol .
