If she throws it, that is single-use though. And yes, she just waxed nostalgically about her bow days. I think she'd be wicked if she just returned to that.

This Gadget seems to have a secret purpose. I can't explain a reason for detachability, nor picking a single use weapon over bow and arrows.

    It looks like a spear.

Spears aren't always throwing weapons. Historically the long spears like the Unsullied carry were used as pikes instead of javelins - basically as a pokey knife on an extension handle. The benefit of a non-throwing spear is the ability to stab someone from a few extra feet away. Generally, the longer the handle, the less likely it intended as a throwing weapon.

The Romans throwing spear, called a pillum, separated the metal point from the long wooden handle with a thin rod of metal that would bend after it his something, because they found that the big problem with throwing a spear was that if you didnt kill the guy you were throwing it at, the net result was that you'd given your opponent a nice, new weapon to throw right back at you. Below you can see what I'm talking about:

I'm here to tell you the sex violence has not been upped because it's on HBO. If anything it has stepped down.

I was speaking in general about HBO. They’ve reached the end, and so the sex will be less; although that Bronn scene from the first episode was filmed last year and moved to this year. I don’t know if it was, “We need more sex here,” or, “This episode is a little short.”

I noticed in that scene, they had the Maester deliver Cersei's orders to Bronn instead of Cersei herself. Feeds the rumor that the actors playing Cersei and Bronn hate each other and cant be in the same scene.

Better and more careful than average speculation on symbols of the Night King.

You'll notice it spins counter-clockwise just like a hurricane.

I don't know what that means and I'm sure it means nothing.

So Jon sacrifices himself to become a white walker to end the war. Jamie gets turned into a wight and kills Cercei.
