Nick Wright: Warriors GM 2 loss to Clippers was the worst case-scenario

Nice comeback. Doesn't change anything. The Warriors are still gonna cruise to the second round.

 

I'm old enough to remember when everyone was picking the Warriors to win this series in a sweep.

Clips win at least one more. I picked them in six before the series and stand by it.

The Worriers have been poop on their home floor and there's at least one more game there. Really weird. So many bad vibes for them in the Bay Area.

 

There has been very little cruise from the Warriors this round. They WANT to cruise and have streaks, but Clippers have made it really frustrating

It was one of those games the Clippers just kept going after them. One noticable difference I observed was the way the Clippers collectively pushed Durant around. It went from Beverley being there pest to all of the Clippers. Obviously it took way more than that (Lou and Harrell on offense), but that was one other key that I think made a big difference.

I remember last year the Rockets essentially let Durant try to beat us a few games and that seemed to work to an extent

 

Nick needs a solo show. I guess this is his show, but the potatoes can talk and interrupt him.

 

Why is nick so pro Houston? Any ties?

worst case scenario. lol. not getting out of the first round is the worst case scenario and its very possible cause of injury. and its crazy how players dont respect durant. i know bev is crazy but he could have targetted curry but somehow knew durant would get affected by his antics. DURANT so talented but really weak mentally. ejected first game and fouled out second game.

 

Pretty sure he lived in houston for a while and like someone else mentions he’s friends with Morey.

Also when asked for a refrence when he was applying for his show he put Morey as one of his references.

Chris Carter makes fun of him about it from time to time. Says it’s the only reason he got the job.

 

He used to be on “in the loop” with Lopez on 610.

In the next round, i hope to see Doc Rivers sitting in the stands wearing a Rockets shirt with his wife in support of his son Austin ala Del Curry as the Rockets lay waste to this stinking Golden State organzation.
