On the first day of the playoffs, 3 of the 4 better-seeded teams bit the dust. While that trend isn't likely to continue across the board, it's almost a certainty that one of the 8 upper-seed teams will fail to advance to round 2. So which favored team will be the first to bite it?
Raptors or Sixers, though Raptors because of their history. Denver might, but still picking them to win.
Yep. I voted for Philly but I can easily see a Nuggets collapse. I still don't understand how that team won as many games as they did this year.
I think they got off to a good start and maintained enough win % to stay up there while Rockets got off to an 11-14 and played catchup the rest of the season. I mean they almost fell to the 4th spot in the end. Standings in the west doesn't mean as much since there's not that much separation.
I think most of the teams didn't see it coming that the underdogs could fight back like this. Some will bounce back. Could see some upsets in the West.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Toronto as a possible upset in the 1st. Perhaps Game 1 was an anomaly with Kyle Lowry going 0-for, but we've seen this version of the Raps and it usually doesn't end well with them. They just might not have enough Magic in em. From the beginning I said the Spurs had a good chance to take down the Nuggets, I'll still go with that series as my for sure upset of a high vs. low seed.
Denver and Philty. The latter will crumble if they lose today and especially if Embiid goes down. Hopefully not cause I like him.
