    This is a Historic year for James Harden, def going to the live game- you can't beat a live game, coming back and watch GOT DVR recorded immediately- just avoid spoilers, and loose some sleep - I understand about the GOT watch parties, why not save the parties for the later episodes when the crazy stuff start towards the end?

    I understand and agree but there are only 6 episodes.

    It's like compressing WW2 in 6 episodes, you can't really compress such a complex universe and grand final wars into 6 episodes IMO.

    (Hence every episode becomes important.)

    It has nothing to do with the Rockets and everything to do with the showrunners. I understand why ppl won't miss one second of every episode.

    And I understand why they want to watch it live and not after 2 hours. (Live-Original Airtime)

    Fully.

    (Personally I have an appointment and prolly won't be able to watch both live.)

    Never watched an episode, don't have time for dragons and wizards and giants or dwarves or whatever that show is actually about. Does not interest me at all

    I'll be watching the Rockets then I'll watch GOT later. There really isn't enough black people in GOT for me to care THAT much about the show. I think I counted a grand total of 5 black people in all of Westeros- (Extra points if you can name them all!).

    I remember when they said it was going to be a full year until the final season. I was fine with waiting.

    Seriously. It's very offensive when people confuse Imps and Dwarves. After everything that the Dwarves contributed to ancient Tolkien civilization, to be lumped in with ale swigging, womanzing brutes that kill their mothers upon birth like Tyrion is disgraceful.

    None of that is relevant to the premise of the show. Sure, those creatures exist in the universe; but it feels like you're watching the Sopranos or any other groundbreaking HBO drama

    There is a big gas producers conference this week in San Antonio. I bet the lower bowl might not be entirely full just because of that. Sunday is the main night for the conference too.

    I betcha the "Company-Sponsored Hospitatility" suites starting at 8pm are either unusually poorly attended or airing Game of Thrones. :D
