LOL just when I thought the Kings were finally going to turn the corner. Joerger's not a great coach but replacing him with Luke Walton? C'mon. If they would have drafted Luka the Kings would have probably made the playoffs and Joerger's job wouldn't have been in jeopardy.

I remember when Luke Walton was considered the greatest young coach in the league. But it was because of his record with GSW. Same reason why I think Kerr is overrated.
What?! Why? Did anyone really have the Kings performing any better than they did this season? They're an almost .500 ballclub with a lot of young players. Another year and a piece or two added and they could compete for a playoff spot.
Thank God that coach was awful. The kings would have made the playoffs with a decent coach. Bagley was clearly better than WCS a couple months into the season and should have been starting/finishing games. He kept playing all these twin tower lineups when Fox and Hield need space to operate. They have a great 5 to build out around for the future in Fox, Hield, Bogdonoivich, Bagley and Giles. Just need some pieces to fit that and a coach with a clue and they will be a great team in the future
This just reeks of hubris from Divac and everyone else in that front office. They need to stop thinking that they are ready to compete now just because they won 39 games this year. Can't wait for them to give Harrison Barnes an extension.
Because Joerger is confrontational and isn't a good people person. Also he refused to play and develop the younger players.

They only needed 49 wins to make it. And a good coach can definitely net a team 10 additional wins. You're not even bringing anything to the discussion just being argumentative

Maybe Joerger made some bad personnel decisions, but that's what you have the offseason for. Look at what worked, what didnt, retool, and keep building. Nobody expected Sac to do as well as they did, and yet had their best season in 11 seasons (won 38 games in 07-08) At some point, Kings FO needs to stop being so delusional and thinking they have the next the next GOAT on their roster.
Can tell you didn't watch very many Kings games this year because you don't have anything to bring to the discussion.
