When he was drafted, every critique of Howard included concern that he was going to break down very quickly because he runs so upright. He doesnt really protect himself well at all.
Only seen JJ and Hop say they want oilers unis. Pretty sure they’ve already made history. If our unis weren’t so trash, they probably wouldn’t do it
The difference between a team that thinks they can win a championship and the Texans org that thinks they can draft their way to a SB. SMH
LMAO They traded Howard because he isn't a good fit in Nagy's offense. Very simple, dont over think this.
In a heartbeat. You get a difference maker on a rookie contract vs a really good player/difference maker with a bad knee that's about to get paid.
The Texans have been very mediocre and not memorable in their first nearly two decades of existence. Just a very boring beginning to a franchise.
Everyone is different. Some people are satisfied with mediocrity and having an ownership group that isn’t going to extend its self. If you have enjoyed the first 17 seasons, I’m sure you will love the next decade or so and keep wearing your AFC Division Champs t-shirts with pride.
I will most likely rep my Houston squads till the day I die. That being said, you have to earn my trust. Even though we haven't won a championship yet, Morey has still done that. With the Astros, Lunhow has done that. No one in the Texans organization over the past 17 seasons has shown me that they can be relied on as tried and true stallworths, when it comes to building a potential championship roster. We finally have a viable QB that is on the rise and also on a reasonable rookie contract..... and we're penny pinching players in FA??? If now is not the time to go ALL-IN, I don't see when that time will arise.
So he can't enjoy the Texans without being naive or not smart enough to understand he should be miserable?
Would've liked to get him but with Foreman looking like he's back, I'd rather grab solid a back in the third to phase out Miller
