Yikes... I still think Gerald has a role (he single handedly kept us in the Celtics game), but House and Shump would be able to log longer minutes due to their defensive talent. Green is either on or off, and when he's off, he may only get 6 minutes a game come playoff time. I seriously hope he's fire all post-season, but shortening his minutes did happen later in the playoffs last year. This injury may be what loses him minutes...
It'll be interesting to see how the minutes will be distributed among House, Shumpert, and Rivers if both Green and Gordon can't play.
Even before the injury Green was being slowly phased out of the rotation. We pretty much know what we have in Green. Come postseason I think he's just depth, and situational if we really need some offense.
I think this effectively pushes Green out the playoff rotation..i hate it because i want him to play over Shump.... if DA is going to run a 8-9 man rotation. Most likely not...but still
