Easily will go down as the best player in the history of the NBA to not win the ring should the unfortunate happen.

    This nutter deserves better.

    It's on Tillman and Morey.

Morey will not allow that to happen. He’ll get it done this year tho.

Save the thread. It's too early and not that important.

    Chuck Barkley could sympathize.

If he stays hot and our role players step up it can happen this year. We need more from Tucker, Capela, House, Rivers, and EG. they all need to make significant contributions. I already trust CP3 will.

Unfortunately, with the support cast around him and MDA as coach, it is quite likely to happen.

When you have a player like Harden, he deserves a young 'pippen' to help win that championship - that is not cp3, who cant be relied on to stay healthy through a championship run

Not so cleverly disguised Tilman/Morey bashing thread. I agree Harden needs a ring, but I would still like the option of punting this thread into the sun

Nah, it’s tragic for guys who routinely step it up postseason time and have their teammates let them down. He’s got too many instances of being the one to falter.

Harden will get us a ring at least before he retires, better believe that.

    Ridiculous post.

He’s a tad below regular season Harden but he still plays at a superstar level in the playoffs. Stars aren’t routinely elevating their games to some mythical level in the playoffs. They generally play exactly the way they did in the regular season. You just forget the trash games when your team wins a championship. It’s a team sport.

Other great players deserved a ring and for various reason they didn't win it, Yao was another player (and person to say it all) that shoudl've won a ring, but eh...regardless, even if James will not win one he will still be remembered as one of the most unique players ever, there's no doubt in my mind that in the future everyone will remember Harden more than most of the stars that have won at least a ring.

Off the top of my head, he played worse vs Portland when we lost, vs SA (no Kawhi, ugh), vs GS everytime they beat us and if he played at a superstar level in G6 or G7 last year he has a ring already.

He doesn’t have to raise his game to a mythical level. Just don’t keep playing worse, especially in elimination games. Look at the guys who routinely lead teams to titles. They don’t consistently play worse. They often play better when they win.

Wouldn't blame James Harden if he demanded a trade.

    ;)
