For serious me either til last year when I went out that way for 2 weeks of 6A boys playoff soccer; they have the region 3 6A finals there ever year @ Abisher stadium in Deer Park. Move it to Katy.
This for sure is going to affect our health in some shape or form. No way this much chemical smoke covers the entire city and no human is affected by it. They are not going to set off panic so everything will be downplayed until folks move on. Last thing we need is 1000s lining up at the ER. We are expecting companies to be moral and have good ethics. I mean just think for how long volkswagen and other diesel manufacturers have been polluting our air..and they only paid a fine because they got caught.
With the successful programming of wage earners to believe clear air/environment is a liberal vs conservative political issue (regulations = COMMUNIST) - is there any hope for improvement for safety standards? Is it naive of me to to hope we can improve things?
I’m being told by friends who work in the area at other plants to stay away from that side of town for now.
Houston looking silly again (disaster-ly) nationally. Three-Day FIRE ?!!! Championships help make amends.
