Is the chemicals they use to make gasoline... I think it’s worse then crude oil.

NAPHTHA can cause irritation to eyes and the respiratory system. It affects the central nervous system and is harmful and even fatal if it is swallowed.

XYLENE may also be fatal if it is swallowed and enters the airway. It can cause skin irritation.

Incorrect. It is gasoline additives that are burning. Nothing related to crude oil.

I did. Both those chemicals danger are when exposed in liquid form. XYLENE when burned is not as harmful as digested as a liquid.

Seems like the point is people this this is just a conspiracy and everyone in government is in on it.

    Like Chemtrails and vaccines.

    What? Lol

    This isn’t a conspiracy...

Don’t know why the hell you are bringing up chemtrails and vaccines, freaking chemical tanks are burning covering nearly all of Houston in chemical smoke.

And the air is being tested by numerous sensors like the mayor and the county judge just said in their press conference. They say the air quality is safe for now. Could that change if the smoke lowers, yes but for now it's safe.

So what is it? Conspiracies or what the government is saying?

Did you just post a conspiracy tweet in this thread as an example of their being conspiracy theories in this thread?

And that doesn’t sound like a crazy conspiracy of a tweet either lol.

People on reddit are saying the foam/water is draining into the river. There is a photo and it looks bad.

There's a canal right next to the plant that flows into Buffalo Bayou, so I'm not too surprised. **** don't flow uphill.

No idea how to embed google maps, but here's a link. https://goo.gl/maps/5sP8jqvyUV72

There are supposed to be barriers set up to keep the runoff from going into the ship channel or any other nearby waterways. Post the pics?
