Clippers are overall a better team and more well rounded despite the loss of Tobias.
Both Zubac and Shamet are 22 years old this week.
Zubac: 14 rebounds per 36 minutes
    Shamet: 3FG% = 42%
If you are given up 1 First and 1 Second, you should get Zubac and Shamet. You don't get "old man" Iman Shumpert.

    Magic Johnson sucks.
    Randle + Brook Lopez = 12 million/yr
    KCP = 12 million/yr

Clippers are better, but i still don't see them as a championship contender. We'll see if they can get KD this summer. I liken them right now to the Nuggets post Melo trade where they got a bunch of good assets from the Knicks, but didn't do much with it.

What else was exchanged in the Rockets deadline trades. Can you remember?

Hint: how much salary did it clear, and how many wasted roster spots did it clear?

    Follow up questions:
Would you have paid the luxury tax to acquire Zubac or Shamet without dumping the extra salary? Would you accept the risk of repeater tax that brings for next season?
Or, if you prefer, do you think a team would've given us Zubac or Shamet and taken back Knight/Chriss with those picks?

Final question: Do you think your knowledge of cap economics is superior to Daryl Morey & staff?

    Over simplification = cheap conversation

Hmm I wonder who works for the Clippers now that is helping their franchise progressively get better with shrewd trades and good drafting.

If only the Lakers had someone like that at one time..

I knew luxury tax and salary dump. I am talking about the improvement.
Shumpert makes 11 million this year
Knight makes 14 million this year
    am I right?
Knight has valuable expiring contract in July?

To be fair its a lot easier to rebuild your team than it is to make an actual contender. Clippers have been giving away their contender pieces like Blake, Cp3 and Harris to get assets and that's pretty easy to do since you just pick the best available offers. Morey can trade Harden tom for a package of young guys rivaling what AD would get but that doesn't mean that would be a good idea.

Morey can trade Harden to Celtics and Cp3 to the Lakers and get all their young guys for a very "young and exciting" core if he wants.

Are you really complaining about this teams depth?

Future and stable staffing, feel unstable about Faried and Rivers and other 5 players.
    Two 22-years-old talents.

They could get the 6 seed pretty easily. The Lakers are stupid.

Harris is a good player but i still see him as a Melo kind of player, in multiple aspects, he won't make your team much better, he can score and will get his 30 points games here and there, but he's not a game changer...two 1st rounders, one unprotected of a mediocre team like Miami, 2nd roundr, Shamet...yeah, Sixers got raped by West, and this is assuming they will be able to resign Harris, which might very well mean giving him a max contract.

Johnson got burned, what else is new. He's a been horrible GM, since he signed Lebron (who would've signed there regardless). Resigned KCP to 12M over keeping randle (only making 8M a year or so). Let Lopez go,couldn't get Paul George, then let the Kawhi and AD trades go to ****. Sign a bunch of misfits that can't shoot. Then he trades a young up and comer in Zubac for a G-leaguer. He did get Bullock which was a decent trade, but that is someone who puts you over the top on a good team not someone you build around.

Walton is going to get fired, but of the two Johnson screwed up but setting him up to fail and he's probably gonna make Walton the scapegoat this year. That Zubac trade was all time bad, don't think anyone can see how that would work out well for them. Basically dumped a young promising player for nothing. Don't expect much next year, they'll probably sign Kemba Walker(or equivalent), trade some combination of Ingram/Ball/Kuzma for a solid role player and call it a year. Lebron's an idiot for not considering Philly or Houston but if basketball is secondary to movies now i guess it makes sense.

    Summary:
Clippers get Landry Shamet, Zubac and 2 first round picks. (two 22-year-old starters AND 2 first round picks AND 2 second round picks)
Tobias Harris contract is expiring in June. Brand treat Harris like Zion or Giannis.
True value: Harris is only worth Zubac, nothing else.

    Details:
The Sixers acquired Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanović and Mike Scott in a trade with the Clippers, sending L.A. Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala (later for Zubac) and Landry Shamet to the Clippers in the deal.
The Clippers receive Philadelphia’s own protected 2020 first-round pick, the Miami Heat's unprotected 2021 first-round pick and the Detroit Pistons' 2021 and 2023 second-round picks.

The Magical Johnson is not magical!

Also, the Rockets could really use the Brook Lopez, if the Tilman had been willing to use the MLE on him instead of Luxury Tax Savings.

Would love to see Pat Bev on Curry in the first round - would tune in just for that.

I'd say given his Johnson's history and the fact that it's still here, it's pretty magical.
