They got lucky Durant was out or else Rockets would have won.

Man it's so easy to hate this GSW team. I have never seen such a group of cocky passive aggressive punks before.

The whining, the complaining, the "celebration"...geez

Maybe we should've focused on getting a real big man that's not 36.. ain't the first time we got killed by an opposing big and couldn't get a rebound to save our lives.

winning by one basket with the game down to the wire is 100% not a 'making a statement' game thats for sure lol

Michael Wilson is an ass. Talking about how we should have beaten them as we were at full strength and they weren’t...What happened 2 of the other 3 games...?!They just featured one all star big man over another...They beat Houston by allowing Curry to get away with a travel...That’s luck, not a statement.

Man when Harden is off on his J the Rockets can stall in big stretches.

Seemed this team struggled to get good looks and really struggled with Cousins. GS is a scary team if that is the Cousins we see more off in the playoffs.

Cousins flailed his arms out when someone reaches in the post and gets ball. This happened twice, once with CP3 at the baseline.

I immediately turned it off as soon as I heard him say that.
Houston beats GSW 3-1 this season, 2 games the rockets were missing key players..but let's fixate on the 1 game we lost..
How is 3-1 indicative of us not being ready? the fk is this logic?!?!

It’s a good thing the Warriors signed a top 20 player for $5 million, otherwise they probably wouldn’t have beaten the Rockets at all this season.

Faried looking about as playable as Anderson out there. For all the jokes about GS bench they sure as hell outplayed our bench in all facets of the game - defense, offense especially rebounds.

Like I said earlier in the thread...What statement? They barely eeked out a win. No way we were getting blown out. If anything, they reconfirmed that a Rocket-Warriors series is completely up for grabs.

Nene shuts his b**** ass down routinely. Faried and Clint are just not big enough. Nene (and Rivers' defense) was the x-factor in those GSW wins but no one noticed.

No point in bring him up if the coach ain't gonna play him. Unless he's the X-factor and we are hoping to surprise them with our lineups in the playoffs. Nene is also 36 and not going to shadow Cousins all game in a seven game series. The best you can hope for in that matchup is a wash.

The Rockets coulda played better no doubt but it was a pretty average night, not good but not horrible. CP3 actually had one of his better games of recent memory, and CP3 and Harden hit some big shots in key moments while Gordon made some plays in the second half. Capela had about an average night and Tucker shot poorly. The issue is the margin for error is just too small with our poor defense and rebounding due to lack of size. Both areas of which are too late to address and not something we can fix easily.

If Durant had played those minutes Mckiney and Lee played it could've been even more lopsided. We basically have to play perfect basketball over 4 games and expect Warriors to shoot below average to win in the playoffs. Yes it's definitely possible to beat them but no way we should be favored. Guys like Faried and Shumpert are not going to help us more than Ariza against a team like the warriors. Gotta face the facts we got worse and GS got better.

Basically our only shot to beat them is to outshoot them, whereas in the past we could rely on our defense and rebounding to win some games even if we have an off night shooting.
