Rockets are seen as a real contender though... Astros as well. Texans are an embarrassing show. It will take Watson to get hurt again for these bums on Kirby to attempt to act like they want to win. Otherwise it's crickets while other teams sign impact players.

At this point please don’t sign a running back bcuz it will embarrass us. Why do i have a feeling the Texans will give Tevin Coleman 11 mill a year ?

You're right. Other teams passed on Bell too. Personally, I don't get it when $2 to 3million a year offer over what he finally accepted by the Jets can land you a top 3 talent at a position, especially teams that had the cap space and have middling or lower quality at the RB position.

I was not down with the irrational money paid on the first day, but I would have paid Bell that much.
(providing he at least showed up at the complex for an 'eye' test. Nobody knows what he had been doing for the last year)

You have a short window with Watson on a rookie deal to spend money in other areas. Overspend if you have to and front load the money; missing on the top OTs when you could outbid everyone is a joke.

At least resign Clowney if building through the draft is so important.

Waste of money with this offensive line and coaching staff.

I was replying to a post about Le'Veon Bell

Not sure where Thomas came into the picture.

Thomas broke the same leg in 2 of the last 3 years. Price matters for that kind of injury risk.

If you guys are as underwhelmed as i am about the Texans free agent signings so far, i say there is still time to right the ship. Sure i have no idea why we wouldn't go after a guy like Earl Thomas, who could have mentored Reid into becoming the next great safety. Sure i have no idea why we haven't signed a single offensive lineman. But i do think that if we can sign a guy like Darby, then things get a lot easier. Hell, sign Darby, and throw our hat in the ring for Justin Houston (who is still a beast) and won't command as much as he used to. Adding another pass rusher isn't the worst idea in the world.

But for god sake, sign someone of consequence soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most disappointed I have been in an offseason. With the obvious holes, movement of other teams trying, and the boatload of money we have decided to just sit on.

The spin cycle machine is correct on this one

IMO they should still be looking for a #1 corner
